ANALISIS DRAMATURGI ERVING GOFFMAN TERHADAP POLA KOMUNIKASI PELAYAN DI KAREN’S DINER
Abstract
This research discusses the communication patterns of waiters at Karen's Diner restaurant, which has a terrible and rude service concept to its customers. The purpose of this study is to see how the Front Stage and Back Stage of the waiters, and how the rude attitude shown to customers. The methods used in this research are in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation from various sources. The results of this study shows that the character shown by the waiters while working and their real character are different, and actually they have two different sides of life.
