Archives are records and proof of all activities and transactions carried out by an organization, from daily operations to decision-making processes. Archives are not just stacks of papers or documents, they hold useful information and play an important role in supporting work. This article discusses the problems in archive management at the Finance Division of Siloam Hospital Bekasi Timur. Based on direct observation, the archive system was found to be not well organized. Many inactive records were still kept in the active storage area, making it harder to find needed documents and reducing space efficiency. To solve this, the steps taken included sorting and removing old or inactive records, fixing damaged documents, and organizing the archives in a more structured way. This research used a qualitative method with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that reducing inactive records helps improve storage space and makes archive management more effective and efficient.
